Our recent projects with London Airlinks and Richmond Park Golf Club demonstrate the importance of investing in contract grade furniture and how it can be sustainable and economical in the long run.

We worked with London Airlinks Golf Club who were undergoing a full golf course and clubhouse remodeling and refurbishment project. Due to the size and scale of the project, our client had unexpected costs arise through the project timeline and the internal refurbishment budget had to be trimmed as a result.

At the same time, our client was replacing the furniture at their flagship venue Richmond Park Golf Club which has the highest footfall and usage out of the Glendale Golf brands. Protocol had supplied furniture for the clubhouse around 10 years ago but it was still in such great condition, our client was able to reuse it for their London Airlinks clubhouse. They ordered a small amount of top-up furniture but overall were able to save on their budget.

The new furniture we supplied for Richmond Park Golf Club was for the main dining and coffee areas. Some of the furniture we supplied included our Jazz banquette seating units, Cassis lounge armchairs, Elane dining chairs and Inox table bases.

Here’s what our client had to say:

“What a positive response we have had on opening the new venue, with many customers positive about the look, feel and style of the new clubhouse, nobody aware it is 10 year old furniture and still looks fantastic. A true example of built to last and certainly far more environmental benefit than using cheap furniture which only lasts 3 years.”
