EcoVadis Sustainability Bronze Medal 

The Bronze rating is given to companies that are outperforming the majority of others that are rated by Ecovadis. It is based on Proactis’ sustainability management and advanced approach to Corporate Social Responsibility.

An international standard that defines the requirements for a Quality Management System. This ensures products and services are safe, reliable, better quality, longer lasting and in turn more sustainable.

Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives we are taking

  • Partnering with manufacturers that have sustainability credentials and produce eco-friendly furniture
  • Minimizing our carbon footprint by consolidating deliveries
  • Adopting a sustainable delivery approach by reusing packaging from deliveries and using blankets for client deliveries
  • Encouraging staff to print double sided as we work towards becoming a paperless office
  • Encouraging car-sharing to cut down on the environmental impact of commuting
  • Partner with local colleges and universities to support the industry through work experience and lunch & learn presentations
  • Properly disposing of installation packaging and recycling it at our warehouse
  • Improving our recycling game with new waste bins
  • Donating unwanted furniture and ex display samples to local charity Lighthouse Furniture project
  • Introduced charity days for all employees as part of a new benefits package
  • Considering solar panel installation at our office to save on energy and reduce our carbon footprint
  • Hosting regular charity events where all donations are kindly matched by our parent company’s Denman Charitable Trust
  • Always disposing of any cardboard packaging after delivery and making sure it recycled

Our eco-friendly furniture collection includes products that are manufactured with recycled materials in production, not finished with any toxic chemicals, produced in factories with renewable energy and 100% recyclable at end of life.

Seeds for Trees

Seeds for Trees was founded in 2008 by Protocol’s parent brands Steeple Group and Denman Corporation as part of the mission to preserve our planet and combat climate change. Each year, we sequester around 2.6 tons of CO2 from 410,000 trees hosted in 1,439 acres of forest in North and South Carolina.
